Student Council
Hey LSS, you’re in luck! Student Council has decided to extend the showing of home alone! Come on down to the gym at lunch to get cozy and finish a Christmas classic.

Next week is Christmas spirit week and Monday’s theme is; Christmas PJ. Come to school in your coziest pj’s and head down to the foyer at lunch for some free hot chocolate!

Interact Club
Good morning! Today from 1:30-4:30 in the foods room in the school the interact club will be baking with the food bank! This is a great initiative to be involved with and it will be a ton of fun. So clear your calendars and come on down to the office to sign up! Only a few spots available!

GRASP training
Hey there LSS students! Are you looking for training opportunities that look great on scholarship applications, teach you essential skills and provide volunteer opportunities? This year Ladysmith Secondary is proud to partner with the Vancouver Island Crisis Society to offer leadership and training opportunities at LSS. This includes the GRASP Challenge, Communication Skills, Mental Health Awareness, and Healthy Relationships sessions. Students who participate in this program will be invited to volunteer with the Crisis Society in our school and community. Please pick up your registration form from Ms. Powell or Ms. Dolen in counselling as soon as possible as the first session is mid January!

This past weekend, Kaitlyn Banister placed again at the QMS Christmas Classic Wrestling Tournament in Duncan. Theis was only her second tournament, and wrestled against experienced opponents and came away with an impressive bronze medal. Congratulations Kaitlyn
