Student Council
Hey LSS! back to school spirit week starts on Monday. Make sure to wear your comfiest pj’s to school!
Careers
Grade 11’s come with us Wednesday to the Canadian University Event at Dover Bay. There will be 50 Universities and lots of swag! The first 50 people to bring back permission slips get to go
Swimming
Can the following students please see Mr. Rodgers before the end of the week Lila Jeffries, Daphne Anderson, Elliana Kilner, Daniel Castro Carli and Jack Beerling
Grade 8 Boys Volleyball
Any grade 8 boys wanting to play volleyball at LSS this year, you will have your first practice Friday right after school in the gym. if you can not make that practice please see Mr. Rodgers and let him know
Jazz Band
Jazz band has started this week. Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:15am in the band room
Guitar Club
Are you interested in learning guitar? Come to guitar club and learn to play on Tuesdays at lunch in the band room
Counselling
Are you interested in volunteering at Oyster Harbour Seniors Home or Ladysmith Thrift. Volunteering looks great on your resume and your scholarship application, and did you know if you have enough hours by grade 12, you could be eligible for $3000 scholarship. See counsellors today for an application.
