Hi LSS
Planning for next year is going strong. – what!? Don’t we need to finish this year?
Our counsellors have been busy meeting with students and their schedules. We plan to get the 2021-22 school year’s schedules into the hands of students next week.
Also, I have attached our bell schedule for next year – our records clerk and math department were a big help in creating a schedule with great start and end times (multiples of 5)
At present time, the Ministry has not relaxed guidelines for COVID safety in schools even though public guidelines are changing.
Three more weeks – persevere and finish strong. We are going to make it.

Hi LSS
Game plan for next school year – we are going back to semesters for the 2021-22 school year. That is 4 blocks for the first five months and 4 blocks for the next five months (Just like we have done in the past). Also, we are not in cohorts next year. The start and end times of the school day will not be changing.
More filming fun this Friday. Some creative students from our Grad 2021 class will be working on their own grad video after school and into the late evening. The event is being supervised by staff. Just wanted to let you all know in case you go by the school and wonder what is up.
STAAR presentation – (Students Taking Action Against Racism)
Last week all classes participated in a talk on the topic of racism. Our own STAAR group members courageously presented their student voice video. After the presentation students were invited to sign a board with the quote “In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends.” Martin Luther King Jr.
