Working Together as One / Nutsumaat Syaays

The Nutsumaat initiative is a multi-phase project with students learning traditional weaving, language as well as local history and Stz’uminus culture. Ladysmith Secondary is currently working with Stz’uminus First Nation carver John Marston to help weave aboriginal understandings into our shared story in Ladysmith. The final phase of this project is, at present, being finalized by John Marston in his studio. Installation is scheduled for Fall 2018.
