Orange Shirt Day
LSS will be participating in Orange Shirt Day on Wednesday, September 30th, to honour the survivors of the Indian Residential School System and remember those who did not. The reason we wear orange is based on the real life story of Phyllis, a survivor of St. Joseph’s Mission School in Williams Lake, BC, whose brand new orange shirt was taken from her on her first day when she was just a little girl. Please wear orange on Wednesday.
The students that have signed up for golf, there is a meeting today at break time in room 225
Grade 12 Study Area
The Grade 12 study area is now closed during class time due to vandalism. It will be open at mid-day break.
