This Week at LSS - Dec 16th
Hi LSS Family
It was the last day of classes before Winter Break all were excited and beginning to shake.
The thought of no books, no pencils, no pens had us all checking clocks waiting for it to begin.
There was only one person with a tear in his eye who would miss all the excitement, a very strange guy
No students, no teachers, no phone calls home, what would he do? He would be all alone.
But he had an idea that would help pass the time, “I could ride my bike it would be so sublime”.
So, if on the holidays you hear a strange sound, look out your window and gather around
For you just might see someone full of good cheer, riding and wishing you the best of the New Year.
Have a peaceful, restful and joyous Season.

Hi LSS Family
This past week LSS invited in our neighbourhood schools, the local primary and intermediate schools, to get crafty. It was great to have future secondary students hang out with us. Thanks to counselling for organizing this. Engaging in our community is part of the LSS Vision.
Career Life Education (a Ministry course taught by Tracey Teneycke) had her grade 10 students working on Random Acts of Kindness. Various acts such as giving out Tim bits, providing tea to people and encouraging notes were just some of kind acts.
Super thanks to students’ council for the festive fun and providing ways for us to support individuals in hope to brighten their lives during this season.
You gotta love LSS
