Hi LSS
I think it is human nature to spend more time looking at the negative and forget about the positive. We see this often in the NEWS as it seems that mostly bad news gets talked about. I know that in most cases when you are getting a call or email from me it is not good news. This is why I try to send encouraging words through the “This week at LSS.” Now we can’t ignore bad news, but we can work to emphasize the good.
I enjoy reading report cards. I actually get pumped up reading about the many amazing things that are being taught at LSS. I also love seeing how students are improving and building that strong education foundation.
Report cards will be out next week – most likely Monday afternoon. Please take time to look them over and share them with your kids. Find the good and celebrate it and work on strategies for the areas that need to be worked on.
Report Cards log in video – LSS parent MyEd log in is found under quick links on our website.
This video helps you log in to your MyEd BC parent account for the first time. Once you are logged in, you will be able to view, download and print your student’s report card.
All report cards for grades 8-12 students in NLPS will be digitally published in MyEd BC accounts. If you require a paper copy, please contact the office.
