This Week at LSS - April 22nd Addition
This Week at LSS - April 22nd
Hi LSS
Fashion found its form this week. Many students wore their finest Thrift store wares on Thursday and had the opportunity show them off in our lunch time fashion show. We wanted to acknowledge the local Thrift store as the Ladysmith Health Auxiliary is a big supporter of the “Hunger Bites” food program here at LSS. What is “Hunger Bites?” We recognize that learning happens best when stomachs are full – feed the stomach nourish the mind. Through support from the community and school funds we can offer a breakfast program, sandwiches at lunch and various snacks each day.
Thanks to students’ council for finding outfits for Ms. Harrison and me. Some students mentioned I looked like Eminem or Jesse Pinkman – is that a compliment?
Thanks Health Auxiliary for supporting our students and for making us look so fashionable.
